Stellantis has led car sales in Portugal in October across all segments of the market, with its brands Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, Opel, and Peugeot.
According to data released by ACAP, the Group led the total market of Passenger Vehicles + Light Commercial Vehicles (PV+LCV) in October with 4,218 units and a 25.9% market share, led the PV market with 3,068 units and a 22.1% market share, and also led the LCV market with 1,150 units and a 47.6% market share.
Globally, from January to October, Stellantis has the leadership of the Portuguese automotive market, both in absolute terms and in Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles, having sold 51,972 vehicles so far, giving it a market share of 27.4%.
In October, Stellantis also stood out for leading sales of 100% electric cars with 586 units and a 19.8% market share (PV+LCV). The same happened in the electric commercial vehicles market with 171 e-vans, representing 71.9% of this market.
In addition, with 1,000 100% electric and plug-in hybrid cars, the Group was the number one in low-emission vehicle sales (LEV) in October, achieving a market share of 18.9%.
