Peugeot has strengthened its leadership in the automotive market, with 23,936 passenger and light commercial vehicles sold between January and November, representing a market share of 11.5%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to the same period in 2022.
In the passenger vehicle market, Peugeot leads the cumulative sales table with a total of 19,492 units, representing a growth of 29.3% compared to the same period last year and a market share of 10.7%.
The models that have contributed the most to strengthening the French brand’s leadership in this segment are the Peugeot 2008 with 6,480 units sold between January and November, the 208 with 5,947 vehicles sold, and the 308 – which has just launched the 100% electric variant – closing the top 3, with a total of 2,988 units sold.
Regarding sales of light commercial vehicles, the French brand is also the market leader with 4,444 units delivered to its customers between January and November 2023. The brand’s market share has increased from 17.6% to 19.2% compared to the same period in 2022.
The most sold model in this segment is the Partner with 3,849 registered units, representing a market share of 15.7%.
In the electrified market (100% electric + plug-in hybrids), the French brand once again stood out, with a volume of 4,941 vehicles sold until November, and a market share of 8.4%.
