Stellantis has announced the launch of MyTasks, a tool that allows real-time communication, task assignment, and status updates with drivers in the field, through the integrated infotainment unit in the vehicle.
MyTasks allows fleet managers or dispatchers to assign tasks or change the schedules of each driver individually through an online portal. In these cases, vehicle drivers receive an instant notification of the assigned tasks through a pop-up message on the vehicle’s infotainment screen, thus avoiding the use of a mobile phone.
The connected system allows drivers to send the assigned destination to the vehicle’s navigation system to generate the route, providing managers with the status of each task.
The application is an innovative and patented interface that connects fleet managers and drivers, leveraging over-the-air update functions. Thanks to this update process, MyTasks will also be available in existing Stellantis vehicles in the field, currently equipped with compatible communication technology and infotainment units.
