Max Verstappen, from the Netherlands, driving for Red Bull Racing, faced difficulties with his Formula 1 car during the Monaco Grand Prix. The car’s instability when passing over the kerbs revealed a correlation problem between the simulator and the real track. Consultant Helmut Marko acknowledged this issue and explained that the simulator did not accurately replicate the car’s behavior over the kerbs. Verstappen mentioned that the team will continue to struggle on circuits that require the car to effectively handle the kerbs. He also acknowledged that certain tracks may be more suitable for his car’s performance.
