Oliver Rowland was the winner of the Formula E Misano ePrix, but did not cross the finish line first. António Félix da Costa was the strongest on track, but was disqualified after the race for a technical infringement.
Impressive start from Sébastien Buemi (Envision Racing/Jaguar), who only needed one lap to go from eighth to the top. In fact, several drivers took turns leading the race, with various incidents costing drivers like Pascal Wehrlein (TAG Heuer Porsche) and Nick Cassidy (Jaguar) dearly.
Sam Bird (NEOM McLaren/Nissan) tried to replicate the winning strategy in São Paulo by being the first to activate the Attack Mode both times. The British driver was leading halfway through the race and increased the pace. However, he suffered a puncture that compromised his race.
In the last six laps, Félix da Costa (TAG Heuer Porsche) managed to take the lead, battling with Rowland (Nissan e.dams) who even managed to overtake him. However, the Portuguese driver responded and crossed the finish line as the winner 0.410s ahead of his opponent.
Jake Dennis (Andretti/Porsche) fought for third place with Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah), coming out on top. The Frenchman initially finished ahead, but was penalized by five seconds and dropped to eighth. Maximilian Günther (Maserati MSG Racing) and Dan Ticktum (ERT) completed the top five.
