A possible destination could be Haas, which will lose Nico Hulkenberg to Sauber in 2025. Tsunoda could potentially join the Swiss team and be Hulkenberg’s partner. Another option under consideration is Audi, which is evaluating potential candidates to join Hulkenberg once they enter Formula 1 under the new regulations. Carlos Sainz, who is currently in negotiations with Williams, is also being considered by Audi. Williams, despite its difficulties this season, is working to improve its facilities and become more competitive in the future. Team boss James Vowles is pushing for improvements and has even reached out to Adrian Newey for a possible return to Williams. Sainz, a winner of three races, could potentially join Williams and form a strong duo with Tsunoda. On the other hand, Esteban Ocon is being considered as an alternative to Sainz for Audi. Ocon is set to leave Alpine, and he has shown interest in joining Haas. This would give Haas a driver with experience in winning races for the first time. With Pierre Gasly likely renewing his contract with Alpine, Tsunoda could become a target for Audi. If both Sainz and Ocon choose not to join Audi, there is a possibility that Valtteri Bottas or Guanyu Zhou will be retained. However, this outcome is considered unlikely. Red Bull currently has an option on Tsunoda’s services until September, and they have expressed their preference to keep him. However, if Tsunoda decides to leave, this would solve the problem that Red Bull faces of having three suitable drivers for two seats in 2025.
