As the son of the owner of the Aston Martin F1 team, Stroll currently has a contract in place. However, there are rumors that he may leave F1 to pursue other interests.

The 53-year-old former driver acknowledges Stroll’s strong performances during the current 2024 F1 season and emphasizes the potential of the Aston Martin project. De la Rosa suggests that Stroll should follow the example of his 42-year-old teammate.
While Pedro de la Rosa supports Stroll’s continuation in F1, renowned commentator X suggested that Aston Martin should consider other options for 2025. X believes that Stroll has not performed well enough compared to Alonso, his teammate. Stroll had a tough season in 2023, facing criticism for his weak performances.
