BMW has revealed the renewed M2, which comes with more power and a manual gearbox, all to enhance the driving experience.
The smallest coupe in the M range comes with 20 more horsepower than its predecessor, that is, 473 hp at 6250 rpm, and the same torque of 550 Nm as the predecessor, using the six-speed manual gearbox, which transmits power to the rear axle. The version equipped with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The German brand also announced that the M2 with a manual gearbox accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, which is one-tenth faster than the previous model, while the variant with the eight-speed automatic gearbox covers the distance in 4 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h, or 285 km/h in the case of the version equipped with the optional M Driver’s Package.
