Tsunoda believes there are additional elements at play in Red Bull F1 talks.

Yuki Tsunoda has expressed that he is not concerned about securing a spot at Red Bull, but rather his main focus is on enhancing his performance for RB. There were speculations that Tsunoda’s decline in performance at Red Bull could lead to his replacement after the summer break. Various drivers were rumored to take his place, including Max Verstappen. However, Red Bull ultimately decided to retain Sergio Perez for the remainder of the season, hoping for an improvement in his performance. Tsunoda has now stated that he is no longer worried about taking Perez’s seat at Red Bull.

Tsunoda acknowledges the possibility of moving to Red Bull but remains unfazed by it. He assures that if he were to make the move to Milton Keynes, he would approach it with the same level of dedication and focus as his current role. The 24-year-old driver is committed to continuing his efforts and striving for better performance, whether he remains with his current team or receives a promotion alongside Verstappen.

Despite the pressure and uncertain circumstances at Red Bull, Tsunoda remains steadfast in his goals and work ethic. He is not concerned about his future location and instead prioritizes consistent effort and improvement in his performance. However, if the opportunity arises to drive for Red Bull alongside Verstappen, Tsunoda is prepared to handle it by maintaining his usual approach and goals.

Tsunoda reveals that he has had discussions about his performance with the team principal and others. However, he emphasizes that these talks were not particularly significant or focused on his future. Both Marko and Horner advised him to stay focused on his performance and continue with his current approach. This indicates that Tsunoda should not worry about his future but rather concentrate on giving his best on the race tracks. If the 24-year-old driver continues to improve with each race, he stands a high chance of being promoted to Red Bull Racing.

Although Tsunoda downplays the significance of these discussions, he believes that the advice he received will have a positive impact in the long run. He understands that maintaining consistent performance with Red Bull’s sister team will ultimately benefit him in the future.
