Yuki Tsunoda faces make-or-break moment as Helmut Marko unleashes Max Verstappen’s power

Red Bull Racing’s Yuki Tsunoda Faces Intense Pressure as Helmut Marko Demands Performance Boost

Yuki Tsunoda’s future at Red Bull Racing hangs in the balance as rumors swirl about his potential replacement by Isack Hadjar amidst a challenging start to the F1 2025 season. With only seven points in seven races, the pressure is mounting for Tsunoda to deliver significant results for the team.

In a bold move to push Tsunoda to excel, Red Bull’s motorsport advisor, Helmut Marko, has decided to equip the young driver with the same RB21 parts as his teammate, Max Verstappen. This strategic decision comes after Tsunoda’s struggles and a setback at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, where he damaged his car, forcing the team to revert to older spec parts.

Marko’s message to Tsunoda is crystal clear – it’s time to step up and start scoring points consistently. The advisor emphasized the importance of learning from Verstappen and leveraging the upgraded parts to enhance performance on the track.

Ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, Tsunoda expressed optimism about the improvements in his car setup, hinting at potential advancements before the final practice session. Determined to make an impact, Tsunoda set his sights on reaching Q3 in the upcoming qualifying rounds.

As the spotlight intensifies on Yuki Tsunoda, all eyes will be on his performance in Montreal to see if he can rise to the challenge set by Helmut Marko and secure his spot at Red Bull Racing.
