Yuki Tsunoda’s Future at Red Bull in Doubt as Isack Hadjar Shines and Shows Interest in Promotion

Struggling to keep his place at Red Bull, Yuki Tsunoda faces mounting pressure as Isack Hadjar emerges as a potential replacement. The young French driver has been turning heads with his recent standout performances, casting a shadow over Tsunoda’s long-term prospects at the team.

Tsunoda, who took over from Liam Lawson five races ago, continues to grapple with extracting top performance from the RB21 car. Since Daniel Ricciardo’s departure in 2018, Red Bull has seen a string of drivers, except for Sergio Perez, struggle to solidify their positions after stepping into this challenging role.

Former Red Bull driver, Alex Albon, shed some light on the demanding nature of driving for the main team, emphasizing the stark contrast between the main and sister team cars. The intricate handling of the RB21 poses a significant challenge for newcomers, making it a tough transition, especially with the current high-performance cars being less forgiving of errors.

As Tsunoda gears up for his 100th race, he finds solace in returning to the Canadian Grand Prix, a track he particularly enjoys. Despite the milestone, Tsunoda is under immense pressure to deliver a strong performance and mark the occasion with a stellar result.

On the other hand, Isack Hadjar, who has been making waves at Racing Bulls, expressed curiosity about a potential promotion to the Red Bull Racing team. However, he humbly admitted that he doesn’t feel fully prepared for such a leap just yet, acknowledging the steep learning curve and the challenges faced by his peers in trying to match Max Verstappen’s pace in the main team.

While Hadjar remains focused on honing his skills and gaining experience with Racing Bulls, he remains open to the idea of a promotion if the opportunity arises. Despite his readiness to step up, Hadjar acknowledges the complexities of transitioning to the top-tier team and is committed to his current development path.

As the speculation around Tsunoda’s future intensifies and Hadjar’s star continues to rise, the dynamics within the Red Bull Racing team could be in for a significant shakeup. Fans and experts alike are eagerly watching to see how these developments unfold in the high-stakes world of Formula 1.
