Yuki Tsunoda otimista sobre potencial oportunidade na Red Bull em 2025.

Yuki Tsunoda is eager to establish himself as a viable candidate to replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull Racing next year. Tsunoda’s contract with the team is set to expire at the end of this year, and the Milton Keynes team has made it clear that they will consider their options before renewing with the 34-year-old driver. This has generated interest among other drivers in the paddock who are keen to join the team. Now, Tsunoda, from VisaCashAppRB, has expressed his interest in joining the Austrian team next season.

When asked if he would like to race for Red Bull next year, the Japanese driver responded by stating that he hopes to be considered by the Milton Keynes team. However, 23-year-old Tsunoda also mentioned that he wants to strive to show his performance to other teams on the grid. In the past, there were rumors linking the Honda prodigy to a transfer to Aston Martin.

Tsunoda emphasized his desire to increase his value as a driver on the grid, which would make him a strong contender for any available seat. However, he admitted that he is not aware of Red Bull’s plans for the next season. Despite this, the 23-year-old driver hopes to be included in the list of candidates to join the team. Red Bull Racing recently stated that Tsunoda needs to improve to be considered as an option for them.

Currently, Tsunoda is the only Japanese driver competing in Formula 1. The 23-year-old driver has a close relationship with Honda since his junior days, which eventually led him to be included in the Red Bull Racing program. However, Tsunoda has not yet scored points in the championship. However, he is determined to reverse this situation this season.

Tsunoda believes that scoring points would bring hope to his fans back home. He hopes to finally score points at the Suzuka circuit and has set this as his goal for the Japanese Grand Prix. Additionally, Tsunoda mentioned that he has good momentum after scoring points at Albert Park. With the support of local fans, things can work in favor of the Honda prodigy.

Arguably, Tsunoda has set high goals for this season. The Japanese driver has outperformed Daniel Ricciardo so far this year and hopes to continue delivering strong performances in the upcoming races. His goal is to solidify his claim for a promotion to Red Bull Racing in 2025.
