After VW, it is now Audi’s turn to announce that it brings the interactive fun of video games directly into the car with the AirConsole platform, specially developed for vehicles, which is available through the Audi Application Store.
In this way, passengers in the Audi A5, Audi Q5, Audi A6, Audi A6 e-tron, and Audi Q6 e-tron models, all equipped with Android-based infotainment systems, can use the central screen of the vehicle, when parked, to play everything from skill games to group games, with AirConsole’s portfolio regularly updated with new titles. Classics like UNO Car Party!, from Mattel, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? ensure a diverse offering of entertainment on board.
Audi also announced that in models equipped with the MMI screen for the passenger, several games are available during driving, thanks to the dynamic privacy mode that prevents distracting content from being visible to the driver while the vehicle is in motion.
Passengers just need to scan a QR code to connect their smartphones to the vehicle and use them as game controllers.
To mark its 40th anniversary, the popular drawing game Pictionary has been reinvented in an additional collaboration with Mattel, specially adapting it for use in the car.
The Pictionary Car Party is exclusively available for Audi drivers until the end of 2025.
