Ferrari has announced that it will expand the payment options for its models in Europe with cryptocurrencies, following a successful experience in the United States.
According to “Reuters”, the Maranello brand intends to extend this form of payment to Europe on the condition that cryptocurrencies are legally accepted as a form of payment.
Ferrari also mentioned that this new form of payment is in response to customer requests who have investments in cryptocurrencies and would like to buy Italian supercars with this type of currency.
“The entry into the European market follows the successful launch of this alternative payment system in the United States less than a year ago, to support dealers in the best way to meet the needs of their customers,” the company revealed.
On the dealers’ side, there are few changes compared to the traditional payment method, as cryptocurrencies will be automatically converted into local currency.
