XPeng, a Chinese electric vehicle brand leading in Artificial Intelligence mobility and high technology, announced that it will launch the Mona series in Europe, which entered the Chinese market last year.
The confirmation was made to the American television channel “CNBC“, by He Xiaopeng, CEO of XPeng, who stated that the company’s international expansion is progressing faster than expected, and therefore the Mona models will arrive in the European market as early as next year.
“In 2026, we can expect the launch of a variety of Mona products in the markets of China and Europe, as well as in the rest of the world”, explained He Xiaopeng. “I am confident that by then, we will launch excellent new vehicles.”
It is worth noting that the Mona M03, already launched in China, is the first model of the range, a 100% electric sedan measuring 4.78 meters in length, which led XPeng to break a production record, with 100,000 units produced in 216 days.
Unveiled on August 27, 2024, in Beijing, the XPeng model generated a strong wave of orders, achieving 10,000 reservations 52 minutes after its presentation.
