Xpeng Motors has unveiled the first exterior images of its new four-door electric coupe, internally known as the E29.
The new model, which is expected to hit the market in the second half of 2025, showcases a bold evolution of the brand’s well-known sedan, designed by Rafik Ferrag, the director of design at Xpeng.

Developed internally over the past five years, the new generation of the P7 is Xpeng’s response to a new era of artificial intelligence. Although the official specifications remain unknown, the revealed images suggest that the new P7 features a fastback profile, a full-width rear light signature, retractable door handles, frameless side mirrors, and a retractable rear spoiler.
Despite the new generation of the sedan sharing many similarities with the model launched in 2024, it adds several design elements to enhance aerodynamic performance.

“I am very excited that the first official images are finally available for everyone to see,” said Rafik Ferrag. “The original P7 was a milestone for Xpeng and a turning point in the electric vehicle landscape in China. With this new generation, we decided to design a 100% electric sports sedan that impresses from every angle. This car is our dream, refined through countless iterations. In my opinion, the brand new Xpeng P7 is a work of art, shaped with emotion and purpose,” concluded Ferrag.
