Xpeng, the Chinese electric vehicle brand leading in Artificial Intelligence (AI) mobility and high technology, has just marked the delivery of over 620,000 100% electric models globally, positioning itself as the third largest electric vehicle company in the world.
Founded in 2014, Xpeng is one of the fastest-growing high-tech automotive companies in the world and is well-positioned to continue leading the global development towards an era of mobility defined by AI.
Since entering the European market in Norway in 2021, the Chinese brand has introduced artificial intelligence technologies and advanced solutions, now operating in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and most recently the United Kingdom.
The brand’s goal for this year is to expand its global presence to over 60 countries. In Portugal, since September of last year, Xpeng has been selling three 100% electric models: the G6 Coupe SUV – the best-selling model in Portugal – the G9 family SUV, and the P7 sports sedan, which allowed the brand to surpass one hundred units sold in just 100 days of operation.
