Xiaomi announced that the SU7 Ultra has set a new record for the fastest lap at the Chengdu Tianfu Circuit in China, also reclaiming its title as the fastest production quadricycle model.
The SU7 Ultra completed a lap of the 3.26 km circuit in 1m26.741s, surpassing the previous record held by the BMW M3 by about 8 seconds.

The production version of the SU7 Ultra used to set the record featured a hood with air intakes, similar to the prototype, which is an optional feature for the production version.
It is worth noting that the SU7 Ultra is equipped with a CATL Qilin 2.0 battery with a capacity of 93.7 kWh that powers three electric motors: two HyperEngine V8 motors and one V6 motor, delivering a combined power of 1547 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.97 seconds and reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
The SU7 Ultra is set to hit the Chinese market in March, and Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, has already announced that the brand aims to sell 10,000 units of the 100% electric model in 2025, despite each unit being priced at around €110,000.
