Xiaomi EV shared a glimpse of the interior of the YU7, the highly anticipated SUV model from the brand, which will be officially unveiled tomorrow.
The 100% electric model features a large horizontal infotainment system display, complemented by a panoramic head-up display, the Xiaomi HyperVision (PHUD), which projects the image onto the lower part of the windshield, acting as a large screen that is highly configurable. In this way, this panoramic head-up display can show information about the vehicle’s power and speed, as well as the navigation system and reveal some safety information to the driver.

With the option of this panoramic head-up display, Xiaomi removed the conventional instrument panel from the YU7. However, the electric SUV features a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom, similar to that used by the sporty sedan SU7 Ultra.
In addition to this glimpse of the interior of the new YU7, Xiaomi also showcased the new color for the new 100% electric SUV, an “Emerald Green,” which Xiaomi claims is inspired by Colombian emeralds, and which, according to the brand, was achieved through a dual-layer painting process.

Remember that the new YU7 will have a dual motor configuration, with a front motor producing 295 hp, combined with a rear motor that generates 386 hp, resulting in a combined power of 681 hp. The two electric motors will be powered by CATL batteries of 96.3 kWh with three range options: 770 km, 760 km, and 675 km.
It is already known that the new YU7 will be produced at Xiaomi’s factory in Beijing, where the SU7 is manufactured, and its market arrival is expected in the summer, to compete with the Tesla Model Y.
