Xiaomi announced via the Chinese social network “Weibo” that it achieved a new monthly sales record in July, with over 30,000 vehicles sold.

This number, according to the company, includes sales of the new YU7, Xiaomi’s first SUV, whose deliveries began on July 6. Additionally, the company noted that the total for July also reflects the accumulated deliveries of the YU7 pre-produced in previous months.

In addition to the sales record, Xiaomi continued to expand its dealer network in July, having opened 18 new dealerships in the seventh month of 2025, raising the number of brand distributors to 352 in 97 cities across China, according to “IT-Home.” Another 18 dealerships are scheduled to open in August.

Alongside the expansion of sales and dealerships, Xiaomi is accelerating the expansion of its production unit, having acquired a new industrial site of 485,100 square meters for the construction of the third phase of the Xiaomi Auto production unit. The planned annual capacity for the new site is 450,000 vehicles.

Xiaomi has already announced that it intends to sell its 100% electric vehicles outside of China starting in 2027. Currently, the brand only sells its models in China.

Remember that the electric sedan SU7, the first model from Xiaomi, surpassed the sales of Tesla’s Model 3, and the new SUV YU7 received over 200,000 reservation requests within three minutes after its presentation.
