World of Volvo comemora primeiro aniversário com exposição de mais de 100 miniaturas

To celebrate its first anniversary, the World of Volvo, the Swedish brand’s space in Gothenburg, which features two restaurants and a variety of spacious and dynamic areas designed to host a wide range of events such as exhibitions, concerts, conferences, culinary experiences, and other events, Volvo has launched a new exhibition that promises to delight enthusiasts and curious visitors.

The exhibition, titled “Volvo Models – Through the Years,” showcases nearly 100 years of Volvo history through more than 100 miniature models, ranging from classics of the 1920s to the latest releases, such as the innovative EX90.

Curated by Bert-Jan Nijhuis, a Dutch collector who has dedicated over four decades to the brand, the exhibition is a passionate tribute to Volvo’s design and engineering.

Among the highlights are rarities such as the PV 654, the PV 36 Carioca, the PV 444, and the exclusive P1900, as well as buses, trucks, construction machinery, and even competition models like the S60 WTCC, a world champion. The exhibition will be on display until the end of 2025.

In just one year, the World of Volvo, which is free to enter, has become a center for experiences and a new architectural icon in the heart of Gothenburg, Sweden. With five floors and 22,000 m², entirely built of wood and surrounded by glass, the building resembles a monumental and living tree. Inside, in addition to the new temporary exhibition, visitors can explore a permanent display featuring over 4,500 m² of immersive and interactive experiences — a journey through the past, present, and future of mobility, always with the human being at the center of the narrative.
