The jury of the Women’s World Car of the Year (WWCOTY), made up of 82 journalists from 55 countries across five continents, has already selected the best models in each of the six categories, making them candidates for the top award.

Six vehicles, each representing “excellence in their segment, not only in terms of safety, comfort, and technology, but also in terms of value for money, have been chosen to bear the title of the best in their class”, the organization announced in a statement this Tuesday.

Among 81 cars competing for the final prize, the Mini Cooper won the title of best city car, while the Kia EV3 was the best among compact SUVs. Also among popular SUVs, the Hyundai Santa Fé stood out as the winner of the Large SUV category.

The Audi A6 e-tron won the executive car category, while the Toyota Land Cruiser took the 4X4 and Pickup category. On the other hand, the Porsche Panamera was the winner among sports cars.

After this phase, the jury will now decide which is the Best Women’s Car of the Year in absolute terms, succeeding the Kia EV9, the 2024 winner. The competitors will be these six models already considered the best in their class. The result will be announced on March 8, International Women’s Day.
