Williams asserts that they have the ability to consistently compete for points in the year 2024.

In the tabloid format, Williams F1 Team revealed their new car, FW46, in New York this week in preparation for the 2024 Formula 1 season. The team is optimistic about achieving positive outcomes, following their successful performance with the FW45, the 2023 Challenger, which secured them seventh place in the constructors championship last year. The team principal is confident that the upcoming season will be a solid one for Williams.

The former Mercedes personnel believes that it is crucial for the English team to deliver good results. He is convinced that Williams can perform even better, especially with the certainty of Alex Albon and Logan Sargent’s one year of experience. The team is aiming to stay ahead in the midfield competition and consistently fight for points.

James Vowles, who took over as the team principal of Williams a year ago, expresses his belief that they have overcome numerous challenges together and established a strong foundation. The team’s seventh-place finish in the Constructors Championship holds great significance for Williams, and they are excited to create a new chapter with the support of their fans, partners, and the entire team.

During the car’s unveiling in New York City, Williams also took the opportunity to announce their long-term partnership with Komatsu. The team principal, James Vowles, expressed his delight in renewing their association with Komatsu. Komatsu is a prominent manufacturer of construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment. In the 1980s and 1990s, Williams had a successful partnership with Komatsu, which contributed to their victories and championships. The supply of gearbox components played a crucial role in their title-winning cars in 1996 and 1997.

Both Williams Racing and Komatsu have enjoyed immense success together in the past. Their reunion marks a significant step towards Williams Racing’s ultimate goal of returning to the forefront of the grid. During the conversation, Vowles also shared additional insights.
