Will Power dominates IndyCar Gateway Qualifying with Record 71st Pole Position

In a thrilling display of speed and skill, Will Power claimed pole position at World Wide Technology Raceway, securing his 71st pole in IndyCar and solidifying his dominance in the series. The qualifying session saw Power outshine his Team Penske teammate Scott McLaughlin, setting the stage for an intense race ahead.

As the sun sets on Saturday, teams will have one final practice session to fine-tune their setups before the highly anticipated race on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM central time. Fans can expect a thrilling showdown as the drivers compete for victory on the challenging oval track.

The qualifying results are as follows:
1. Will Power – 00:49.9088 (180.329 mph)
2. Scott McLaughlin – 00:50.0603 (179.783 mph)

4. David Malukas – 00:50.2572 (179.079 mph)
5. Josef Newgarden – 00:50.3046 (178.910 mph)
