Nyck de Vries, from Mahindra Racing, will join Toyota Gazoo Racing with hopes of achieving success in the World Endurance Championship (WEC). Toyota Gazoo Racing, winner of the last five driver and constructor championships, has available spots for an FE driver in both of their cars. De Vries will drive car #7, while Sebastien Buemi, from Envision Racing, will drive car #8.
The Hertz Team Jota has recruited Norman Nato, from Avalanche Andretti, and the BMW M Team WRT has given a spot to Robin Frijns, who is Buemi’s teammate at Envision.
Representing Italy, Edoardo Mortara, from Mahindra Racing, will race for Lamborghini Iron Lynx. Nico Muller, from ABT Cupra, will join car #93 of Peugeot TotalEnergies, along with Jean-Eric Vergne, from DS Penske, who is a two-time FE champion. Stoffel Vandoorne, champion of Series 8 and teammate of Vergne, will fill part of the challenge #94 of the French team.
In addition, there are seven former FE drivers participating in the series, including Antonio Giovanazzi, who seeks to build on his victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Ferrari last year, while continuing with the Prancing Horse hypercar project.
