VW will take advantage of its presence at the Beijing Auto Show in China next week to unveil a prototype developed specifically for the Chinese market, which anticipates the future design of the brand for electric models.
The teaser revealed on social media shows a silhouette of the prototype to be unveiled in Beijing, marked by an aerodynamic line reminiscent of a sports model.
The new design language of VW was created by Andreas Mindt, VW’s design chief, who joined the German brand in January 2023, coming from Bentley.
It is worth remembering that VW recently announced an investment of €2.5 billion in China for the development of two models in collaboration with the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng.
