The VW Commercial Vehicles is expanding the Multivan model range with an eight-seater version, which complements the five, six, and seven-seater configurations.
As an eight-seater model, the Multivan features three individual seats in both the second and third rows, making this model even more flexible for comfortable trips with larger groups.

The rear seats can all be removed and moved individually, maintaining the total versatility of the Multivan, which also offers an ideal solution for shuttle and taxi services.
Even with eight people on board, this VW Commercial Vehicles model still offers 763 liters of cargo capacity, space more than sufficient for luggage and equipment of any kind.
With this new version, the Multivan is offered in all equipment versions, based on the extended rear compartment version, meaning it has a total length of 5.17 meters, and three rows of seats. In the entry specification, the Multivan is a five-seater model with three individual seats in the second row as standard.
The three additional seats for the eight-seat configuration cost €1,612.45. The Life and Edition equipment lines, as well as the top-of-the-range Style version, come off the production lines at the Hanover factory in the seven-seat configuration, and are equipped with two individual seats in the second row and three in the third row.
As only one extra seat needs to be added in these cases for the optional eight-seat configuration, the additional cost for these models is €660.45, including two foldable tables on the backs of the second row of seats.
In terms of engines, the eight-seat Multivan is available with a 150 hp turbo diesel (TDI) engine and a 204 hp supercharged petrol (TSI) engine. All Multivan TDI and TSI models feature front-wheel drive and come standard with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
