VW continues to expand its GTX range and now it’s the turn of the ID.7 Tourer, a 100% electric model, to receive a more sporty treatment with 340 hp.
This variant, announced as the most powerful electric estate ever from the German brand, is equipped with two electric motors, one per axle, all-wheel drive, powered by an 86 kWh battery, the same as the ID.7 Tourer Pro S, supporting charging speeds up to 200 kW on fast chargers, allowing the battery to be charged from 10 to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
VW did not reveal dynamic details of the ID.7 GTX Tourer, only announcing that the estate is capable of “delivering maximum power and torque in a fraction of a second,” and that the maximum speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h.
Like the other GTX versions, the ID.7 Tourer features specific bumpers, a honeycomb grille, as well as LED lighting signature and illuminated brand logos. The body is red, matching the black pillars and roof, with a color palette available including Glacier White Metallic, Scale Silver Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, and Moonstone Grey Solid.
.The ID.7 GTX Tourer is available with 20’’ alloy wheels as standard, and optional 21’’ wheels are also available.
