VW ID. 2all SUV em 2025/26

VW confirmed the expansion of the ID. electric car range, revealing the first image of the ID. 2all SUV, a model to be positioned in the subcompact category, like the ID. 2all planned for 2025 and the T-Cross equipped with thermal engines, anticipating that the product anticipated by the photo illustrating this news will be available (very) shortly after the 5-door sedan.

In the two models of the ID.2 series, a new variant of the MEB architecture, with front-wheel drive instead of rear-wheel drive in the recently updated ID. 3. Two brands of the VW Group, Cupra and Skoda, are preparing new cars with the same platform. The first announced the production of the sporty sedan Raval, the second favors the development of Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), the trendy car format. The Czechs speak of a model with a length of 4.1 m to be launched during 2025 and with a price of around €25,000.

The VW and Skoda SUVs will be manufactured in Pamplona, Spain, in the same unit as the T-Cross, Polo, and Taigo, while the ID. 2all and the Cupra Raval will be produced in Martorell, also in the neighboring country, but in the Catalonia region, by Seat.

For the consortium, investment in the B segment is crucial to accelerate the sales of electric cars – a mission that is only possible with the democratization and massification of future mobility, an objective that the VW Group failed to achieve with the ID. 3. The definitive version of the ID. 2, according to information from the German brand, is 4.05 m long and has a 226 hp engine powered by a lithium-ion battery that allows for a range of up to 450 km between charges.

Internally, the four subcompacts based on the MEB Entry architecture have code names (VW210 for the ID. 2 all, SE210 for the Raval, VW210 for the ID. 2all SUV, and finally, SK216 for the new Skoda B segment). In the models of the German brand, the instrument panel and multimedia are on digital monitors with 10.9 ” and 12.9 ”, respectively, and maintain physical (illuminated) controls for the control of various onboard equipment (air conditioning, for example). In the sedan, there is a trunk with a capacity of 440 liters and also a cargo compartment with 50 liters under the loading platform, with power supply points for electric and electronic devices.
