Vowles reconhece vulnerabilidade de Sargeant enquanto Williams considera alternativas para F1 em 2025.

Logan Sargeant, Williams Racing driver, is facing uncertainties about his place in the team for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Despite a challenging debut season, in which he scored only one point compared to his teammate Albon’s 28 points, Sargeant managed to keep his place this year. However, he continues to struggle in his second season, with Williams struggling to keep up with the pace with their FW46 car. Williams boss James Vowles acknowledged that Sargeant’s future is at risk and is now considering other drivers to partner with Alex Albon. Vowles stated that they have had discussions with Sargeant about his performance and are evaluating several candidates for the future lineup. Although Vowles did not disclose the names of the other potential drivers, he mentioned that there may be some news in the coming weeks. It was also clarified that any changes would be for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, and not for the current season. Vowles emphasized that Sargeant still has the opportunity to prove his worth and that the decision is not final.
