Volvo has revealed a teaser for the new ES90, the sedan that will replace the well-known S90 and is set to hit the market in the first half of 2025.
The video was unveiled by the Swedish manufacturer at the end of the “90/90 Day” event, where the refreshed XC90 was presented, and it is already known that the new model will share its platform and powertrains with the EX90, including an all-wheel-drive configuration.
The teaser now revealed shows the silhouette of the new model, which appears to be an evolution of the S90, although everything suggests that it will come equipped with a set of advanced technologies, including a LiDAR sensor system on the roof.
Volvo is expected to produce the new ES90 in China, which could mean that it will have to face customs tariffs imposed in markets such as North America and Europe. However, Volvo is expected to announce more news in the coming weeks.
