Volvo apresenta o EX30 Cross Contry com tração integral e pronto para o todo-o-terreno

Volvo has unveiled the compact SUV from the Swedish brand, featuring a design inspired by nature and an outdoor lifestyle, which includes visual and structural changes compared to the “normal” EX30, particularly in terms of ground clearance and some exclusive details.

Thus, the EX30 Cross Country comes with enhanced capability to tackle challenging rough terrains, equipped with special larger wheels, and the option of an 18’’ all-terrain accessory tire and all-wheel drive, ensuring performance suitable for any adventure.

Moreover, the more rugged version of the EX30 is fitted with front and rear protection plates and exclusive visual details, such as graphics inspired by the Kebnekaise mountain range in Sweden, paying homage to the extreme environments that inspired Volvo’s designers.

The Cross Country version retains the electric specifications of the EX30 in the Dual Motor variant, including a range of up to 427 km (WLTP cycle) and the ability to recharge the battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 26 minutes using a 175 kW DC charger.

Inside, the model retains the standard features of the EX30, with a functional layout that includes all the technology, all the storage capacity, and all the smart design that have made Volvo’s small SUV a huge success.

In this variant, everything has been designed for functionality and practicality, with smart solutions such as spacious storage compartments, a removable and washable central box, and a size guide in the trunk to optimize loading. Technology is also a highlight, featuring an integrated Google system, including Google Maps and voice assistance, as well as the Volvo EX30 app, which allows you to pre-heat the vehicle before an outdoor adventure.

True to Volvo’s DNA, the EX30 Cross Country is equipped with an advanced set of driving assistance features. Technologies such as braking and steering support help prevent collisions with pedestrians and cyclists, while a driver monitoring sensor detects signs of fatigue or distraction.

“We introduced our first Cross Country vehicle over 25 years ago, and this concept of durable vehicles that can withstand all weather conditions is fundamental to the Volvo brand. In Sweden, we face harsh winters, but we also like to make the most of them, going out and exploring our fantastic nature, even when it’s 20 degrees below zero outside. That’s why we want to provide a complete experience, not just a car, to our EX30 Cross Country customers.”, said Jim Rowan, CEO of Volvo Cars.
