Volkswagen has revealed the first teaser of the new 100% electric model that is expected to hit the market in 2026. It is the ID.2all SUV model based on the MEB modular electric drive platform with front-wheel drive, the same one used by the ID.2 model, which is scheduled for release in 2025 and is expected to have a price below €25,000.
The now revealed image was presented by Andreas Mindt, chief designer of Volkswagen, during a workshop, where it was confirmed that the ID.2all SUV is another important step towards making affordable electric mobility available to the masses, and shows that the new model stands out for its generously sized wheel arches and slim headlights.
Recall that this week it was revealed that Volkswagen is considering a possible partnership with Renault in order to reach an agreement to produce a common platform that allows the launch of low-cost electric cars, in order to popularize the sale of electric vehicles, considering that joint development and production can reduce costs.
