Maini, 23, was left stranded on the grid after his car’s engine suddenly failed at the start, triggering a catastrophic collision involving fellow drivers Josep Maria Marti and Oliver Goethe. As the field surged forward, Maini’s stationary car became an unavoidable obstacle, setting the stage for one of the most shocking moments of the weekend.
While Marti’s car took to the air and flipped dramatically, Goethe smashed into Maini’s car in a brutal impact. The severity of the crash caused the race to be immediately red-flagged, but miraculously, all drivers involved emerged unscathed.
