Sergio Perez is going through a difficult period in his Formula 1 career. The Red Bull Racing driver had a disappointing performance in the Austrian Grand Prix, finishing in seventh place behind the Haas driver. During the race, Perez struggled with the pace of his RB20 car and had difficulty overtaking the Haas VF-24.

Perez has faced significant criticism for his poor performances this season. The pressure on the 34-year-old driver has increased as he has failed to finish on the podium for six consecutive races. His weak performance at the Red Bull Ring only added to his frustration.

The Mexican driver attributed his difficulties to the lack of speed of the car in high-speed corners and straights. However, Perez was particularly frustrated when Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg finished ahead of him by a very small margin.

With only 10 points in four races, Perez finds himself in a precarious position. Despite a promising start to the season, he will now have to focus on improving his performance for the next race at Silverstone.

The Red Bull team boss acknowledged that the team could have had a better result in the Austrian Grand Prix. A collision with a McLaren driver cost them the victory, despite a strong weekend overall. Although it was not a total disaster, Red Bull was hoping for a win.

Max Verstappen had a good start in the race, winning the sprint on Saturday and securing pole position in qualifying. However, an error on lap 65 resulted in a collision with Lando Norris, causing significant damage and forcing both drivers to make an unscheduled pit stop.

Christian Horner, the team boss, believes that the weekend was not a complete waste for the team. However, he also acknowledges that a victory would have been the ideal result. As they prepare for the next race in Silverstone, Red Bull will reflect on their decisions and seek a fresh start.
