VÍDEO: Primeiro-ministro romeno Marcel Ciolacu observa o Grande Prêmio do Canadá de forma cômica antes dos resultados das eleições.

Marcel Ciolacu, the current Prime Minister of Romania, recently showed his passion for Formula 1. Instead of focusing on election results, Ciolacu chose to enjoy watching the 2024 Canadian Grand Prix in a fun way.

Ciolacu, a member of the Social Democratic Party of Romania, has been a dedicated fan of top-level motor racing since his early days in politics. Currently, he is in his second year as Prime Minister of Romania.

The Canadian Grand Prix provided an exciting and unpredictable race, with intense battles between the Red Bull, McLaren, and Mercedes teams. In the end, an unidentified driver emerged victorious, securing their third consecutive win in Canada.

Following his victory in Montreal, Max Verstappen extended his lead in the championship standings to 56 points over the second-placed driver, who unfortunately did not finish the race. The runner-up, now facing a challenge, will seek to make the most of the upcoming races in Spain and Austria.

During the race at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit, Williams Racing driver Alex Albon showcased his skill and composure by overtaking two cars simultaneously on a long straight in rainy conditions. This impressive maneuver demonstrated Albon’s determination to compete at the same level as the top teams on the grid.

Despite a strong performance during the Canadian Grand Prix, Albon’s hopes of scoring points were dashed when his car was involved in an unfortunate incident. An unidentified driver’s Ferrari spun out of control and collided with Albon’s FW45, forcing him to retire from the 70-lap race.

Nevertheless, Albon remains optimistic and will look to take positives from his performance as he prepares for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix, where he will push himself to the limit on the race track.
