VIDEO – Red Bull F1 Car Catastrophe: Dramatic Crash at Tokyo Event Shakes Racing World

Red Bull F1 Car Suffers Major Damage in Tokyo Event

In a heart-stopping turn of events, Isack Hadjar endured a harrowing ordeal during a Red Bull show run in Tokyo, just days before the Japanese Grand Prix. The show run reunited Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson for the first time since their recent seat swap, adding an extra layer of tension to the already electrifying atmosphere.

The third race of the F1 2025 season is gearing up to be a rollercoaster of emotions for Red Bull as they bid farewell to their longstanding partnership with engine suppliers Honda. Since 2021, Honda engines have propelled Max Verstappen to an impressive four consecutive Drivers’ World Championships, with Red Bull clinching back-to-back Constructors’ titles in 2022 and 2023.

As unveiled last week, Red Bull Racing made a bold statement by reintroducing their special white livery, a nostalgic nod to the Turkish Grand Prix of 2021, as a tribute to Honda at the upcoming Suzuka race. The team’s strategic move aims to honor their fruitful collaboration with Honda in a visually striking manner.

During an event in Tokyo, all four drivers – Verstappen, Tsunoda, Hadjar, and Lawson – participated in a public demonstration featuring iconic F1 cars. However, the excitement quickly turned into chaos when Hadjar encountered trouble navigating a challenging hairpin corner on the street course, resulting in significant damage to his front wing.

A Red Bull mechanic swiftly came to Hadjar’s aid, offering crucial assistance and advice to the rookie driver. Despite the setback, the event marked Tsunoda’s debut appearance as a Red Bull driver following his recent promotion to the senior team after a successful stint with the Racing Bulls junior team.

In a surprising turn of events, Lawson publicly addressed his demotion from Red Bull for the first time, expressing his shock and disappointment at the unexpected decision. The talented driver admitted that he had not foreseen the change and had hoped for more time to prove himself within the team.

With tensions running high and emotions in turmoil, the stage is set for a nail-biting Japanese Grand Prix as Red Bull navigates a series of challenges both on and off the track. As fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming race weekend, the pressure mounts for the drivers to deliver stellar performances and prove their mettle in the high-stakes world of Formula 1.
