The 2024 Formula 1 season officially began this Thursday, with the first two free practice sessions of the Bahrain Grand Prix in Sakhir.
The second session, held at night just like the qualifying and the race, was the one where the fastest times were set. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) set the pace.
On his best lap, the seven-time champion clocked a time of 1m30.374s to finish 0.206s ahead of his teammate George Russell. Watch this fastest lap onboard Hamilton’s W15.
