VÍDEO: Martin Truex Jr. mostra espírito esportivo ao ajudar Kyle Busch de volta aos boxes após piloto da RCR ficar sem gasolina em COTA.

Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. finished ninth and tenth, respectively, in the Circuit of the Americas race. Truex Jr., a two-time Cup Series champion, had a eventful race and ran out of fuel during the cool-down lap. Fortunately, his former teammate and 2017 Cup champion came to his aid and pushed him to the pits.

Truex Jr. and Busch were teammates at Joe Gibbs Racing from 2019 to 2022. Busch then joined Richard Childress Racing, while Truex Jr. remained at Joe Gibbs Racing. Truex Jr. is highly respected in the racing community for his clean racing style and respectful attitude towards his rivals. When he saw Busch struggling with fuel issues, he selflessly pushed him to the pit box after the race.

The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix race, which consisted of 68 laps, was full of drama. While Truex Jr. had a relatively normal race, Busch faced several challenges. Despite the absence of yellow flags, drivers collided with each other throughout the field.

During the race, Busch had an incident with another former Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Christopher Bell. Unlike the situation with Truex Jr., this incident did not end well for either driver. Bell spun Busch on lap 41, causing him to finish outside the top 5. After the race, Busch had a heated discussion with Bell and vowed to seek revenge.

Although Busch has not yet secured a victory in the elite category this season, he has managed two podium finishes and is determined to win his first race of the year. Following the first road course race of the season, Busch took to social media to express his disappointment and hope for a better day.

Now, Busch has turned his attention to next week, where he and his son Brexton have racing commitments. Busch will be looking to add another trophy to his collection in Richmond, a track where he has secured six victories in the past.
