VÍDEO: Lando Norris quase colide com Yuki Tsunoda na saída dos boxes do Grande Prêmio da Arábia Saudita.

Lando Norris and Yuki Tsunoda were dangerously close to colliding and disrupting their races. Both drivers almost crashed at the exit of the pit lane. (images via IMAGO), The start of the 2024 season is approaching. Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have shown impressive performances during practice. Verstappen will start the race in pole position, with Perez alongside him on the front row. This makes the race crucial for Ferrari as they aim to solidify their lead over Mercedes in the constructors’ championship. However, during the race, Tsunoda’s actions almost caused an incident that would have sabotaged Norris’ race.

During the Formula 1 race start, Lando Norris had a nerve-wracking encounter with Tsunoda’s car. Norris was exiting the pit lane ahead of the other drivers lining up on the grid. Unfortunately, Tsunoda’s VCARB 01 was released unsafely, and the two drivers narrowly avoided a collision.

The stewards immediately noted the incident between the two drivers at the pit lane exit, which is currently under investigation. Norris radioed the team about the near miss with Tsunoda even before the race had begun. Fortunately, a collision was avoided, and both drivers continued towards the grid. However, an investigation will be carried out, and appropriate penalties will be imposed on the teams involved.

McLaren displayed an impressive performance during the opening race of the 2024 season in Bahrain. This set the stage for an early competition between McLaren and Mercedes throughout the season. Norris also overtook Perez and scored more points in the first race.

As a result, McLaren is optimistic about challenging Mercedes in the upcoming races. Mercedes, on the other hand, faced several issues in the first two races. Hamilton’s seat came loose during one of the races, causing problems for him. Therefore, if McLaren continues to perform well and minimize errors, they have the potential to challenge both Mercedes and Ferrari. McLaren has already proven to be a strong competitor against the Red Bulls up front, and this season should follow a similar trajectory for the team.
