Kyle Buch was speaking to the press when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. approached him in front of the RCR truck. The NASCAR All-Star race in North Wilkesboro didn’t showcase the most exciting races, but it had its share of dramatic moments that kept fans entertained. The clash between the Richard Childress Racing driver and the JTDG Racing driver overshadowed another driver’s impressive victory.

It all started with an incident on the first lap involving Kyle Busch and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Busch was pushed into the wall by Stenhouse Jr. early in the race and in retaliation, the RCR driver intentionally wrecked the Chevy No. 47 on the second lap. The drama didn’t end there as Stenhouse Jr. confronted Busch after the race, resulting in Busch getting punched in the face.

Before the incident occurred, Busch was talking to the press on his way to his truck, explaining why he chose to retaliate. He expressed his frustration at being constantly taken advantage of, even before the race had started.

The driver of the Chevy No. 47, in discussing the incident, suggested that Busch’s frustration may be a result of his poor performance and the RCR team’s performance. He acknowledged that he understands that frustration because he also races for a single-car team.

Stenhouse’s point has some validity, as Busch constantly finds himself in battles for mid-pack positions, increasing the likelihood of being involved in incidents. This desperation for results makes him more susceptible to getting frustrated with other drivers around him.
