Vídeo: Kenny Wallace critica o observador de Alex Bowman por confronto intenso no rádio em Dover.

Alex Bowman was not satisfied with his performance at Dover on Sunday. Despite finishing in the top 10, he felt that he did not make the most of the fast car provided by the No:48 Hendrick Motorsports team. This is particularly frustrating considering he is the only HMS driver who has not yet won a race this season, and his winless streak has now exceeded two years.

During the race at Dover, Alex Bowman’s frustration reached its boiling point when his spotter cost him the Stage 2 win by blocking the air. This caused the driver of the No:48 Camero ZL1 to become furious, leading him to complain about it on the team radio. In response, Hamlin made a bold comment, prompting Bowman to tell him to “shut up.”

Former NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace has now discussed this incident on his YouTube channel. He pointed out that the spotter was wrong and instead of getting into a heated exchange, Bowman should have ignored it and focused on the rest of the race.

Despite the disappointments, Alex Bowman sees some positives in the result of the race at Dover. He believes that consistency and a good score are steps in the right direction for the No:48 team, and he hopes to continue progressing in that direction.

With 15 races still remaining in the regular season, the No:48 team has ample opportunity to secure a win and secure their spot in the playoffs. Both Alex Bowman and his team need to step up their game and perform more efficiently and cleanly on the track.
