VÍDEO: Ex-treinador de Max Verstappen prevê que piloto holandês não terá uma carreira na F1 tão longa quanto Hamilton e Alonso.

Max Verstappen has been participating in Formula 1 since 2015. He has always been vocal about his dedication to the sport, but has also expressed concerns about the demanding schedule and the various marketing events that come with it. Recently, Verstappen’s former physical trainer, Brad Scanes, spoke about the Dutchman’s future in the sport. Scanes believes that Verstappen will not stay in Formula 1 as long as his rivals Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, as he has interests in other racing categories.

In terms of longevity, it is unlikely that Verstappen will stay in Formula 1 as long as Alonso or Hamilton. The pressure on drivers to attend events, meet fans, and participate in media activities is increasing. Coupled with the number of races in a season, this can lead to burnout. The time commitments and efforts required for these activities are significant.

Scanes mentioned that Verstappen does not enjoy the media aspects of Formula 1, which will likely be a major factor in his decision to leave the sport. However, Verstappen’s fans do not need to worry, as he is expected to continue competing in other racing categories after his time in Formula 1.

Verstappen and other legendary drivers have always praised the Suzuka circuit. During a press event in Tokyo, Verstappen talked about his fond memories of racing in Suzuka and his love for Japan as a country. He described Suzuka as one of the most enjoyable tracks to race on due to its challenging nature. Verstappen also mentioned that he won his second World Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix in 2022.

The current Formula 1 season in 2024 has seen Verstappen performing at a high level. With his state of rest and eagerness to race, he will undoubtedly strive to regain the first position in the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix, which consists of 53 laps.
