Ferrari has unveiled the livery for the SF-25, the car that Lewis Hamilton will drive in his first season with the team in 2025. The new design was revealed during the F1 75 season launch event at London’s O2 Arena, alongside the liveries of the other nine teams.
Ferrari has introduced a darker red base color for the SF-25, a departure from the more familiar tones of previous seasons. The car’s design also incorporates more white, especially around the car’s sides, to highlight the presence of their new title sponsor, HP. The car is designed with minimal components carried over from its predecessor, reflecting the team’s ambition for an entirely new approach in the upcoming season.
Ferrari’s Title Quest with SF-25 Team principal Fred Vasseur expressed optimism that the SF-25 could be the car to break Ferrari’s title drought. Last season, the team came very close to clinching the Constructors’ Championship, falling just 14 points short to McLaren in a dramatic final race.
Hamilton’s Final Push for a Title
The 2025 season marks a new chapter for Lewis Hamilton, who has switched from Mercedes to Ferrari. With seven World Championships and 105 Grand Prix victories under his belt, Hamilton is now focused on one final title, hoping to add a historic championship to his illustrious career in Ferrari red. His partnership with Charles Leclerc, entering his seventh season with the Scuderia, will be key in Ferrari’s challenge for the title.
Leclerc’s Career-Best 2024 Season
Leclerc is coming off his most successful season yet, securing three victories—including in Monaco and Monza—and finishing third in the Drivers’ Standings with a career-best 356 points.
With the SF-25 aiming for a fresh approach and a new sense of optimism, Ferrari is determined to end its title drought and take the fight to the front.
