A drag race between a Ferrari Purosangue and Lamborghini Urus, is a duel of two special SUVs with plenty of power.
The team from ‘Carwow‘ decided to take the two Italian models to the track and put them in confrontation, with Matt Watson behind the wheel of the Urus Performante, equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 666 hp and 850 Nm of maximum torque, all for a total weight of 2,150 kg.
Meanwhile, the SUV from the house of Maranello is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine with 725 hp and a maximum torque of 716 Nm, for a weight of 2,033 kg.
It remains to be seen if the greater power of the Ferrari Purosangue is enough to beat the Lamborghini’s sports SUV in this truly exciting challenge.
As seen in the ¼ mile drag race, after three attempts, the Ferrari Purosangue beat the Lamborghini Urus right on the line, with both models covering the distance in the same time of 11.9 seconds.
In the second race, launched at 80 km/h, with both models in second gear, the Purosangue reveals all its power surprising the Urus and ending up being faster.
Already on a second attempt, at third speed, the Ferrari once again beat the Urus, showing all its power.
Finally, in the braking test at around 110 km/h, the Lamborghini Urus ended up coming out on top, managing to stop before the Ferrari Purosangue.
