VÍDEO: Dale Earnhardt Jr. sugere que um piloto da Stewart-Haas Racing poderia substituir Michael McDowell na Front Row Motorsports em um acordo não convencional.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has some ideas on how the silly season of 2025 could unfold. As the 2024 NASCAR Cup season approaches its mid-season breaks, teams and drivers are already contemplating their future beyond 2025. One team generating a lot of speculation in silly season rumors is former champion Stewart Haas Racing. Reports suggest that the elite Ford team plans to downsize by selling their charters.

NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently addressed these rumors and shared his thoughts on how the silly season may play out. He believes SHR may strike a unique deal with Front Row Motorsports, swapping out a driver who will join Spire Motorsports in 2025 for a driver from SHR.

Earnhardt Jr. predicts that SHR will sell their other charters to teams like Trackhouse Racing or 23XI Racing, who are interested in buying them. He anticipates that the silly season will be even more chaotic than expected, with several drivers potentially losing their seats.

As a co-owner of JRM, Earnhardt Jr. also commented on the rumors surrounding the future of his former driver. Like many others in the racing community, he is unsure of what will happen to the driver and SHR charters in the 2025 season.

The final decision on the future of Stewart Haas Racing may not be made until the end of the 2024 season. This decision will have a significant impact on the future of the sport in the upcoming seasons. It will not only affect the drivers and charter market but also impact revenue sharing negotiations between NASCAR and the teams.
