VÍDEO: Dale Earnhardt Jr. explica como Chase Elliott o motivou a competir em corridas de late-model.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. confessed that he felt apprehensive about participating in late model races. The NASCAR Hall of Famer recently engaged in a conversation on the Dale Jr. Download podcast with Chase Elliott, a driver for Hendrick Motorsports and the 2020 Cup champion. During the discussion, Earnhardt Jr. shared how Elliott motivated him to venture into late model racing towards the end of his competitive career in Motorsports.

Earnhardt Jr. had always been interested in late model races, but had refrained from pursuing them due to the fear of potential embarrassment from losing. However, when he witnessed Elliott’s performance at the Chilly Bowl, he found the inspiration to overcome his fear of failure and embrace the challenge.

Earnhardt Jr. expressed his gratitude to Chase Elliott for providing him with so much inspiration. The impact that the Hendrick Motorsports driver had on him was evidently positive. Earnhardt Jr. also mentioned how grateful he was to Elliott for providing him with something enjoyable to engage in during the later stages of his racing career, away from NASCAR.

The Netflix series “NASCAR Full Speed” gained significant momentum. The show attracted a considerable amount of attention to the sport, drawing fans from all corners of the world. However, the Hendrick Motorsports driver decided not to participate in the second season of the show.

During an episode of the Doors Bumper podcast, they expressed their disappointment with this choice made by the NASCAR star driver. According to them, the driver is not putting in enough effort to attract more fans. Kraft further emphasized that focusing solely on racing is insufficient, as NASCAR is ultimately a business. Former driver Brett Griffin also agreed, stating that drivers should do whatever is necessary to promote the growth of the sport.
