Charles Leclerc, a prominent figure in the world of F1, recently had the honor of carrying the Olympic torch in Monaco. The Olympics, a highly anticipated global sporting event that takes place every four years, generates immense excitement. Leclerc, winner of six Formula 1 Grand Prix races, expressed his immense pride in carrying the Olympic torch during the event, which was attended by thousands of people. In an interview, the 26-year-old athlete spoke about the honor of being chosen as a torchbearer and emphasized the importance of sports values and the Olympics, such as respect and hard work.

This year’s Olympics will be hosted by Paris and will officially begin on July 26. However, before the opening ceremony, the Olympic torch is traveling through various stages after leaving Greece. It is about to reach its final destination soon. While Leclerc had the opportunity to carry the torch in Monaco, he also took the time to discuss the driving styles of other F1 drivers, including Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. He shared insights into his own racing approach as well.

After nine stages of the 2024 F1 season, it is evident that Max Verstappen is currently the leading driver in the championship, with Charles Leclerc closely following in second place. With 194 and 138 points, respectively, the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix could potentially narrow the gap between these two exceptional drivers.
