VÍDEO: Carlos Sainz tenta ultrapassagem ousada em Charles Leclerc no Grande Prêmio do Bahrein, sua estreia após rejeição de contrato com a Ferrari

Carlos Sainz emerged as the winner of the clash against his teammate Charles Leclerc, as the Spanish driver moved up to third place in the Bahrain GP.

The battle between the two Ferrari drivers has been a rollercoaster. Leclerc, despite setting the fastest lap, qualified in second place for the main race and was disappointed. As the race progressed, Leclerc made several mistakes and ruined his starting position in the Bahrain GP. Sainz had a decent start and is currently in third place.

Leclerc made several mistakes in his braking, allowing Sainz to get closer to him. The two drivers fought to overtake each other and take the lead. However, with Leclerc’s errors, Sainz had a relatively easier time overtaking his teammate. Nevertheless, they provided thrilling action as they battled for position. Sparks flew from their cars as they entered the braking zone.

For Carlos Sainz, this victory is exactly what he needs after being expelled from Ferrari following his move to Maranello in 2025. Sainz needs to prove his racing skills by achieving better results than Leclerc in Maranello. Finally, the 29-year-old driver overtook Leclerc and is currently on his way to securing a podium finish in the race. Meanwhile, Leclerc is also fighting to regain positions before the end of the race.

Charles Leclerc faced problems while driving the Ferrari on the Bahrain GP circuit. The start of the race was normal for him, but he encountered significant braking issues in the following laps. Leclerc made several mistakes in his braking, allowing Sainz to take the second-place position. Sainz had a comfortable advantage and maintained it throughout the race.

Leclerc’s braking problems seem to be more evident in this race compared to previous ones. Post-race interviews and data will provide a clearer understanding of what the 26-year-old driver faced during the race. However, both Ferrari drivers are currently in third and fourth place, setting the stage for an intense battle until the end.

Carlos Sainz is currently without a team and therefore needs to perform at his best. His performance throughout the season, especially against his teammate Leclerc, is crucial. Based on the 29-year-old driver’s performance, he can secure a place in another top-level team in the world of motorsport. Regardless, Sainz is also seeking to establish a timeline to secure a contract with another team.
