Carlos Sainz attended the MotoGP race in Spain to show support for the local heroes of the motorcycle series. Formula 1 drivers are known for their interest in various sports outside of racing, and it is not uncommon to see them attending events such as NBA and soccer games. Despite the ongoing F1 season, Sainz took the opportunity to attend a MotoGP event and cheer for the Spanish riders on the grid.

During the Spanish GP race, Sainz was seen expressing his love and support for his compatriots. The recent acquisition of MotoGP by Liberty Media could potentially increase the popularity of the motorcycle series in the coming years. Before the race, Sainz had the chance to meet Maverick Vinales on the starting grid and even took photos with him. However, the Spanish GP turned out to be a race full of accidents, and Vinales, unfortunately, did not finish.

In addition to activities on the grid, Sainz and his father were also seen near the pit area, where they interacted with several riders and took photos with them. They visited the garages of several teams, including Gresini Racing and Aprilia, to demonstrate their passion for motorcycle racing. The father-son duo even spoke with the pit crew to learn more about the sport.

The presence of F1 drivers at MotoGP races may become more common due to Liberty Media’s involvement in the series. This could lead to greater interaction between the two racing championships, which would undoubtedly be exciting for fans of both categories.
